Dear Grace letters 2

Dear Grace
Hello again, how ar you? It’s been one whole year since I talked to you; I have so much to talk about. Any way my name is Aine Harkin I am twelve years (young). There are nine in my family; I am from Ballymore, Dunfanaghy, Letterkenny county Donegal. I live on a farm. My favourite animal is a horse, I have one, her name is Jessie, and she is class. She is getting broken in. I love Gaelic, swimming, horse riding, youth club and Irish dancing. My favourite colour is pink. If I had two wishes I wish that no one was starving in this world and you grace were still alive.

I am in sixth class; there are three in my class Katie, Rebecca, and I. I go to Faugher School, (the best school in the planet). My teacher is Master Murray he’s brilliant but there’s one thing he is leaving at Christmas as soon as I found out I was devastated I was crying at school. I really hope someone from my school wins because; this competition it would be our last school tour ever with Master Murray.

January
I am now going to write about my year.
Well where to start???
At Christmas it was really snowy and icy, we got days off school and even if we didn’t have days of I still enjoy the snow. I got lots of Christmas presents. I was slaying down the fields. I love the snow, winter the best season ever.

February
In February it was my grannies first anniversary. It seems like ages now since she past away. She died in her sleep at four o’ clock in the morning. My auntie went into check on her and she was dead. I really miss her. Now in March it was my sister Alanna’s birthday she was ten. It was lent and it was Saint Patrick’s Day. I got to break lent and I ate lots of sweets.

April & May
In April it was Easter and I got lots of Easter eggs. It was April fools day. I woke my sister up at five o’ clock in the morning saying its time for school . She got on her uniform and went up to the kitchen and looked at the clock. It was five o’ clock, and then she went back to bed again. She was really mad with me.
In May it was my birthday I was twelve. My friends came to my house. It was also my horses’ birthday, she was five.

June & July
In June we went to garten for our school tour. It was class, we went canoeing, rock climbing and orienteering. It was so much fun. In June we also got our summer holidays. Over the summer holidays we went to lots of places. I went to my cousin’s house for a week. We went horse riding every day. My sister went to the Gael tic in Aran More. She was meant to go on a Sunday but it was so stormy the ferry was cancelled for the first time ever. We went to visit her one weekend. We went to the fair in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough. I got a tent and I went camping a few times in it.

August & September
I went back to school on the thirty first of August. I was excited about being in sixth class. It is great. We went to a coffee morning with my teacher. We went to a trip on Letterkenny for a tour about Letterkenny.

October
The weeks are flying and it’s nearly Halloween. I can’t wait until Christmas. My horse is going to be broken in soon. She is going to be away for three whole weeks. The woman that is going to break her in is coming to look at her soon. She has a saddle and we are getting her bridle, numna, bit and girth some time this week. I can’t wait until she is broken in.

Sport
Donegal was playing Dublin in the semi final and Dublin won some how. Dublin won the final against Kerry.
Saint Michaels got into the final for the first time every against Glenswilly. They lost. Ireland was playing Wales in the rugby world cup in the quarter final they lost too. I thought I had no luck now but I think Ireland is still in the soccer games???

News
The big presidential election is coming up and these are the candidates: Michael d. Higgins, Martin Mc Guinness, Dana Rosemary Scallon, David Norris, Mary Davis, Gay Mitchell and Séan Gallagher. I don’t mind who wins. There was an earth quake in New Zealand. There was a hurricane in New York. Three of my cousin’s emigrated to Australia. Another one of my cousins is going to Australia at Christmas. At Halloween I think I will dress up as Cinderella in a beautiful dress but I am not sure. I hope it will snow at Christmas. It is exactly twelve days until Halloween. Master Murray is sick at the minute because of his eye I really hope he is okay.

The late late toy show is coming up and I think my entrance exam is the day after but I am not sure. I am scared about leaving primary school I wish I still had another year. But I kind of want to go to secondary school. I am making my confirmation on the thirty first of March I can’t wait.

Grace how are you? What’s it like up there in haven? What’s god like? I bet you are an angel flying about. Is my granny Rose Margaret Wilkinson up there if she is could you say a big hello to her and tell her that I miss her so much. She died when she was eighty four I guess I am lucky she lived that long. So are the Vikings and the Normans and all the people from back then up there? I hope someone wins in my school. Its now time to say goodbye and I hope to meet up there some day when the time comes until then goodbye. 

Dear grace.
My name is Megan I am ten years old there are five people in my family. I live with my mummy and my daddy and my two younger sisters. I am the oldest child in my family. I have a dog. My life is great. I moved up from Kilkenny to live up in Donegal I miss all my friends but I love it up here. I have a granny and a granddad but they are both in heaven. I didn’t get to see them because I was not born. My granddad was in his early 50’s my mum was very sad and my mum was only 20 or 21. My granny was only in her early 50’s. My dad was only 19. But lucky I have really only one granny but I do have a step granny alive. I have one granny alive. I go to Faugher N.S. I am in fith class. I have loads of friends in Faugher.


How are you in heaven?
I am just perfect down here.
Will you say hello to all my relations that are in heaven. I hope you have made loads of friends in heaven. Is it fun up there?

Over the summer I
Over the summer I went on holidays it was soooooooooooo fun we went to Lanzarote. The weather was okay. It was a bit windy but it was very dry. When we were in lanzarote we went to a place were we could see all the different water creatures. It was so much fun they had sharks, fish, starfish, seahorse, jelly fish and many more. Well the hotel that we were staying in was lovely, well we went to loads of different places. But I can’t really remember all the different places. Ava and jack went to the place just besied us it wasssssssss emmmmmmmmmmm Grand Canana aria. We are very good friends with Ava and jack.

My favourite hobbies.
My favourite hobbies would have to be art looking after my baby cousin’s and playing with my friends. Having a nice time. Playing with Ava and jack. I love dancing and playing the piano.

My life right now in school.
My life right now is great. In school right now it is so fun we have got a sub teacher. She is so nice. We are doing the right amount of work and we are getting to fit in some art as well. She is really nice she, does BINGO some times. We do art , we do work. We do wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more stuff. She is just so fun. Master Murray is leaving in December. We are all going to be very very sad. All of us are going to miss him very much.

My life outside school right now.
Right now in my life outside school. My mummy is very sad because her uncle has died, (my Great Uncle). But this year has been great. But the one thing i am really looking foward to is the snow. I love the snow, but my mummy and daddy hate the snow. Because right now they have taken over a nursing home in Milford. They need to get ready for the snow if it comes. But anyway they don’t like the snow because when the snow comes they have to bring loads of people to work. That means that they both have to get up really early bring the people to work and then they have to work themselves.

What I got for Christmas last year.
Last year I got a doll a pram and loads of little things and sweets.

This year the St.Micheals match against Glenswilly came. We were all so excited. We all went crazy. We made loads of red and white banners. It was so fun. But when I finished my horse riding a man told me that Glenswilly won the mach. I was so disappointed. We worked so hard and now it is all just ruined but I think that they tried very well. Anyway. 

In 2009 i was getting ready to go to the hospital to have an operation on my knee. It was very sore. It was quite funny, I was all happy going into the operation.. But when i came out of the operation I was all sad. I was crying and crying. I feel bad for my mummy now because she was trying to get me to stop she asked me did I want to colour in. I kept crying. She tried to do more and more.
I will tell you what happened. When I was born i had a lump on my knee it was causing me alot of trouble. When I fell it was very sore. So mummy decided that we should have to go to the doctor. We went to the doctor and he had a feel at my knee it was not sore until he reached the side of my knee. Then he saw that i jumped. So he new where he had to fix. Then he said to my mummy that inside my leg there was some tissue it is not the type of tissue. So he decided that we would have a operation. I was very excited because i knew that i would get off school for a few weeks. I then we home and my mummy and I told everybody in my granny’s house about it. Well i had my operation and i had to stay off school for a few weeks.

What happened with my house a few years ago.
Well a few years ago. I had Neighbours, I thought they were my friends until they jumped on there oil tank. Then the oil spread through the ground and filed our house with oily air. Then we had to move out of our house and live with our granny for six whole months. We thought that we would be in my granny’s house for six days. But it turned out to be six months.

My great uncle died only yesterday and my other great uncle died a week ago.
